Exactly three years ago, we assembled the DWLVS progressive rock ensemble in Oakland CA upstairs at the Starline Ballroom, on a bill with Kikagaku Moyo.
This is an audience recording that, from the sounds of it, was probably made near the stage. It captures a fair bit of the monitor mix, but it's quite listenable and we get into some fascinating zones. I also like hearing things on tapes that highlight different instruments and sounds that I didn't hear on stage.
Anyway, this show made its way into some bootleg cassette trader circles, popping up on lists around April 2019. I digitized a copy last year and included this recording as a subscriber exclusive for patrons of jeffreyalexander.bandcamp.com
