    Grow Towards The Light.
This is some good shit, people.
A beautiful LP that was released by Beyond Beyond Is Beyond.
This is from the same session in Oakland CA that produced I Just Wasn't Made For These Set Times and also portions of Paradisiacal Mind. Black vinyl.
These are artist copies that we would have normally had for sale at our live shows.
Thank you for supporting us directly, just like at the merch table.

"Purely instrumental to the extent that singer Georgia Carbone croons a language of her own invention, guitarist/synthesist Jeffrey Alexander and Dire Wolves continue to explore the “higher dimensions of cosmic free-rock” on Grow Towards the Light, their fourth official album of extemporaneous ecstasy. About as ‘delic as you’d expect a band named after a Dead tune to be, Dire Wolves extend the tradition in tracks like “Spacetime Rider” and “Crack in the Cosmic Axis,” which ride magic carpets of Kraut-ish rhythmic precision for 8-10 minutes at a time, dodging the ghosts while yearning toward the clear white whatever with bonus violin and saxophone filigrees." (Relix)

Includes unlimited streaming of Grow Towards The Light via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

  • Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

Artist copies here of both of our CDs on the BBIB label, Excursions To Cloudland (2017) and Grow Towards The Light (2019). They look great together. Sealed copies. CDs are super cool again, or so I've read. These are those delightful slim paks that slide nicely into the spot under your car stereo where your iphone adapter lives. Fuck bluetooth. Life is too short to be listening to compressed audio.

about

LP/CD/digital released by Beyond Beyond Is Beyond

more info about theee Dire Wolves bandh here: www.dwlvs.com

inspired by Sally Oldfield LPs, crap fake-Hawkwind paperback novels, and extra large bottles of Fernet.

what the influencers are saying:

“Dire Wolves have an intimidatingly vast catalog, but if you’re a newcomer looking for a place to start, you’d do well to begin with Grow Towards The Light. It’s a not only one of the band’s strongest sets, it’s a top turner for 2019 as well.” Raven Sings The Blues

“There are few bands who offer such trippy experiences as Dire Wolves, and with Grow Towards The Light they imbue it with a natural spiritualism which underlines the music.” Echoes and Dust

“…delicately poised between the familiar and the weird. It is driven by a constant willingness to experiment along the way without ever losing the true way.” Tiny Mix Tapes

“This expansive line-up permits a gentle, drowsing sort of complexity, where warm lines of guitar and bass intersect with edgy slashes of violin and drums percolate polyrhythmically in a warm bath of ambient tone.” Dusted

“…the album has its own kind of magic, drifting along cloudily and touching its wheels down on earth every now and then.” AllMusic

“The band, as a Whole, are bent on breaking free of constraints, where improvisational jamming is a vehicle transporting a larger purpose — a musical representation of the connected nature of everything.” No Recess

“… effortlessly meshing elements of classical music, psych rock and folk in a way that’s simultaneously trippy, haunting and unsettling.” The Joy of Violent Movement

peace be with you.
